Goodwood Revival drew to a close a couple of weekends back for another year.
As they say, a picture paints a thousand words, so I wont say too much – here are just a few of my favourite shots – from the hero light painting image of Ferraris & Cooper-Climax to the fantastic characters encountered during the weekend…
The lightpainting image shows the Rob Walker Celebration Pits including (left) the Ferrari 250 GT SWB Belinetta Competizione.
Sir Stirling Moss won three times in this famous car, including at the Goodwood Tourist Trophy 1960. (Centre) The Rob Walker Cooper-Climax T51 (1959) owned by Bernie Ecclestone and driven at Revival 2018 by Sir Jackie Stewart and (right) the 1961 TT winning ex-Rob Walker Ferrari 250 GT SWB, immortalised by Sir Stirling Moss at Goodwood – defeating the Zagato of Jim Clark and SWB of Mike Parkes, now in the ownership of Mr Clive Beecham.
