The Adventure Advanced campaign ads are now released in the national press for the Mitsubishi ASX which we shot a few weeks back. It was a great campaign to work on, developing on the theme of last years ad where we shot an urban canoeist keeping pace with the ASX along the city streets.

This year the campaign features the exciting new sport of urban wakeboarding – we needed just the right venue that fulfilled the needs of both the ad campaign shoot and the event & the Waterfront at Bristol was selected – a perfect amphitheatre set up, along with the necessary smooth paved surface. It was obviously the best place around, as when we did the location find recce a few weeks prior to the shoot, it was choc full of kids riding boards!
So prior to the shoot, the set-build began & a whole urban wakeboarding course was built over a couple of days – the guys performed some pretty cool stunts while being propelled by the fleet of ASX’s.

The competitors at the event were a great bunch and in no particular order were…World BoarderX champion 2014 Matt Brind, Andrew Brind, James & Ben Wanklyn, Mark Adams, Aidan Beamish and from France, Pierre-Louis Vine and Antoine Gambier.
