This week we’ve returned to the studio to shoot the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle for the uninitiated!). This cracking new low emission SUV combines 4WD along with electric power and the back-up of a 2 litre engine. There was no need to put it through its paces this time though as we stayed warm and dry in the studio.
The shots we took are part of a campaign that should be hitting your screens soon. We’re currently working on the post-production, and have four ads to launch. The stills will run alongside the TVC and you’ll see them in your Sunday paper, on billboards and on car showroom walls.
There was a lot going on behind the scenes in our own lives during this insider outlander shoot. As we built up the studio lighting, the lab were processing the roll of film I found in my ‘flea market find’ Kodak Brownie, so were itching to find out what it contained (if anything)!
One of the team celebrated a wedding anniversary and so we thought the best way to celebrate on set would be with a toast of my very own Scrumpy. Due to its potency it’s the perfect way to forget that the sentence would be lower for manslaughter. (Only Joking)
It’s the right time of year for this now, the suns out, the BBQ’s warming up and the outdoor parties are being arranged. Potent and sparkling, it’s sure to add fruitiness to any shindig. We’re keeping an eye on the orchard and can’t wait to make this years batch as stocks are running dangerously low!
We’ll be revealing the stills from the Brownie very soon, unless the pics are a disappointment and then we may just tell you it was over exposed.
You’ve just time to place a last bet on what you think is on the film and the winner could win one of my very own bottles of Scrumpy*.
