In a strange turnaround, having spent most of the winter freezing out on location, most of this Spring & Summer has been spent in various car studios…and we have had the pleasure of Eleanor’s company for a major part of it.
For those of you asking ‘Who on earth is Eleanor & why has she been in a car studio for so many weeks, poor girl…?’ well, she was the muse of artist and sculptor Charles Thornton who modelled for the ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ – a symbol of grace and beauty adorning the bonnet of all Rolls-Royce Motor Cars since 1909.
We were tasked by Rolls-Royce to spend five weeks with her and the cars of course, exploring the car with light, finding creative angles and shooting a suite of images for the launch.
We have shot the beautiful and totally new Phantom in its entirety, hopefully capturing the essence of the art, design and craftsmanship which goes into every car produced by this premier automotive company.
The new Phantom was revealed in London’s Mayfair at 9pm  tonight to the World’s press and guests and here are a small selection of our images showing this stunning new vehicle.
The final images are now being released on Rolls-Royce’s global channels, so here are just a few of my shoot favourites…more to follow soon…
