This weekend’s 73rd Members Meeting held at Goodwood saw another spectacular visual feast for anyone with a passion for period motor racing. I took the opportunity to catch up with friends old & new over a freezing cold, but very entertaining couple of days.
If you are not familiar with the event it is a pretty unique. It was conceived by Lord March to recreate the atmosphere and of the original BARC meetings held through the ’50s and ’60s’ and run by Goodwood Road Racing Club. It gives the opportunity to see iconic period cars in action, from Ford Capris to Group C LeMans cars. Added to that spectacular fireworks and fire-breathing dragons thrown in at the evening party!
Here are just a few Iphone images to give you a feel for the weekend – enjoy!
