‘Made Like A Gun’ – shooting Pegasus

‘Made Like A Gun’ – shooting Pegasus

For the first half of 2018, we have been working with the Royal Enfield team on the exciting Pegasus motorcycle project.
The shoots have been pretty diverse and really enjoyable – from atmospheric World War Two Nissen hut locations, banter at sunset around the fire, meeting World War Two Parachute Regt. veterans and hanging out with Red Devils.

We’ve created a whole series of global launch stills – hero bike shots, portraits, lifestyle/apparel imagery, film and social content to showcase the new Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus Edition. The limited edition bikes feature the ‘Pegasus’ insignia, two custom paint colours and are stencilled with their unique serial numbers in an homage to ‘Flying Flea’ motorcycles dropped into battle during World war Two.

Behind the scenes - shooting Royal Enfield

Behind the scenes – shooting Royal Enfield – stills, film & aerial…

If you would like to see or read more on the backstory go to the Royal Enfield website, follow them on Instagram or check out some of their videos on YouTube below.

…’At the height of the Second World War, Royal Enfield made a resilient 125cc motorcycle designed to be deployed behind enemy lines via parachutes and onboard the Horsa Glider to provide communications support along with acting as a quick mobility platform for the forward units of the Airborne Pegasus Regiment across key operations such as D-Day and Market Garden. Officially designated the ‘RE/WD 125’ it was more fondly recalled as ‘The Flying Flea’ by the men who rode it’…

…’Behind enemy lines, constantly under fire, lightly equipped and often facing the very best of the enemy.
Watch the story of men who faced the greatest odds in military history and got immortalised as ‘The Red Devils’…

…’Adorned with the esteemed ‘Pegasus’ insignia, the Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus Edition bears testament to the legendary Flying Flea and stories of the men who rode it’….

And as always – a massive thanks to everyone involved, too numerous to mention – the guys of the Royal Enfield UK & India team, riders, The Stills crew, The Film crew, editors, production team back at base….looking forward to working with you all again 🙂
